Fly Chick Workouts

Since I don’t always have a lot of time on my hands I like to keep my workouts short and productive. I’m working towards maintaing long lean muscles, I lift very light weights or sometimes just my body weight and keep my reps high.

Back in my college days (2004-2008) I played softball at the University of South Carolina. In a nutshell my training at USC was seriously intense, I was definitely in the best shape of my life. We lifted weights 3 days a week and had conditioning 4-5 days a week.  My strength training consisted of lifting HEAVY weights, as softball players they wanted us to hit the ball hard and far! The conditioning program rotated around sprints, long distance running, stairs, and pulling weighted sleds.

This is our football stadium, Willams Brice. I’ve touched every step in less than 20 minutes, at least 15 times…. in the heat of the summer. Pretty bad ass huh? 🙂

Now that my softball career is over say goodbye to the Hulk. I shed 25 lbs of muscle/fat and now I’m a lean mean running machine.
