Knowing we had our plates full for the weekend, Mike and I decided Friday was the night to lay low. We grilled some turkey burgers and cracked open a couple cold ones.

Meet the Grille Master (I say that to make him feel good about his amateur grilling skills)

As Mike was grilling the burgers, Jersey got herself into trouble with the momma duck and her babies. Jersey note to self: don’t try to play with the baby ducks, or else momma ducks beak will bite off your nose.

The Turkey Burgers are filled with red, green, and yellow bell peppers, onion, bread crumbs, Worcester (still can’t seem to say that word right) , salt and pepper, a touch of hot sauce, and topped with low sodium munster cheese.  I served this with a side of broccoli and wild brown rice.
